GUCCI MANE Announces Signing to Warner Bros. Records and End of Relationship With Big Cat; States That Big Cat Album Consists of Pre-2007 Records That He Never Intended for an Album

ATLANTA, May 12 /PRNewswire/ -- GUCCI MANE has today announced his signing to Warner Bros. Records where he will release his new studio album in August, it also marks the end of his relationship with Big Cat Records. Big Cat is to release its final CD on GUCCI MANE today that consists of pre-2007 recordings and outtakes that were not assembled or endorsed by GUCCI MANE.

"I am no longer signed to, booked by, or working with Big Cat Records or any of its employees in any way. The CD that Big Cat is putting out consists of records that were never planned to make my album and is a non-official release. My fans will get the OFFICIAL Gucci Mane album in August on Warner Bros. Records," states Gucci Mane.

In 2005, GUCCI MANE released his independent debut album entitled Trap House, which featured the successful single "Icy" with Young Jeezy. Hard to Kill followed in 2006 and GUCCI MANE's career was propelled with the release of Back to the TrapHouse in 2007. The album was fueled by the hit single "Freaky Gurl."

GUCCI MANE is currently putting the finishing touches on his new album and can be seen on the upcoming cover of XXL.
