Couple's Platinum Award May Be World Record
HOLLYWOOD, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ann Clark and Jeffrey Hilton have just garnered Worldfest-Houston's prestigious best screenplay Platinum Remi Award for their Urban Thriller: "Kill the Messenger." Worldfest-Houston, founded in 1961, is one of the oldest and largest film and video competitions. "Kill the Messenger" was originally conceived as a graphic novel to be published under their UrbanManga.com banner.
Clark and Hilton are among the most award-winning couples in the entertainment and media industries with over 175 international awards -- including 14 Tellys -- for writing, directing, editing and producing.
They have also published a children's book, "The Odd Ms. Bodkins and the Big Crunch," illustrated by Disney animator Frans Vischer ("Who Framed Roger Rabbit?"). "The Odd Ms. Bodkins and the Big Crunch" is available from Brother Goose Books.
Their next screenplay, a high-concept horror story, is going out to studios and producers this week.
