Music Band Sensation Push Play to Perform at Major Music Festival 'The Bamboozle' That Also Includes Performances by No Doubt, Fall Out Boy and Third Eye Blind

Push Play Is One Of Only A Couple Of Acts To Perform on Three Different Days

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J., April 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Notable pop rock band Push Play is set to play at The Bamboozle, the annual two-day music festival which is currently in its seventh year. Other prominent acts to perform at The Bamboozle are No Doubt, Fall Out Boy, Demi Lovato, and Third Eye Blind, to name just a few. Push Play will perform on Friday night at Hoodwinked which is a pre-festival event that kicks off Bamboozle by having current bands cover classic music artists and bands. This year Never Shout Never will perform songs from The Beatles, The Cab will perform music from Queen, Boys Like Girls will perform Cold Play and Push Play will perform songs from MUSE which is a tall order and tough shoes to fill since their music is famously complex and intricate. If the young pop rock act pulls it off it will change the landscape of their careers. On Saturday, May 2, Push Play will perform their own music in front of thousands of fans at the famous Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey at 1:30 p.m. on the Kazoozle Stage with an encore performance scheduled for Sunday, May 3 at 5:10 p.m on the Zumiez Stage.

"We are truly excited to play Bamboozle all 3 days! Being exposed to such a diverse audience and being able to catch the interest of that audience is what I'm particularly interested in achieving. And of course we're all pretty stoked to rub elbows with some of our own favorite performers," enthused CJ Baran.

The Bamboozle, the Live Nation promoted music festival, takes place at the Meadowlands in New Jersey. The festival draws more than 85,000 youthful to mature concert goers each year. The festival features more than 200 bands that represent multiple genres of music -- including pop, punk, mainstream, emo and more -- performing on 10 stages during the two full day music festival. Many of the acts featured have gone on to global prominence.

Push Play's manager, Sue Baran, thinks that "it's the next logical step in Push Play's music career ascent. They have worked very hard to get where they are today and this event, The Bamboozle Festival, is further acknowledgement of the success they've achieved thus far."

The Push Play musicians (CJ Baran, Steve Scarola, Nick DeTurris and Derek Ries) are currently working on their next album Found which will be released this summer. Look for breakout singles Cover Girl, Heart Attack, Midnight Romeo and Away Away. The band is not only smart, charismatic and appealing, but the boys from Push Play are true role models as well, engaging fans at every performance and taking the initiative to build their fan base one fan at a time. Push Play established a philanthropic endeavor called Push Play for Purpose Campaign to give of their time and resources. The boys embarked on a national tour on their own dime which enabled them to raise funds for multiple charities including Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, and The Susan G. Komen Foundation. Their commitment to donating their performances to these charities has raised over $100,000 to date.
