Latin Grammy Nominated Reggaeton Superstar Featured in Artist Speaking Tr3s Campaign

NEW YORK, April 21 /PRNewswire/ -- Don Omar fever is building in anticipation of his upcoming release, IDON (April 28th, Machete Records), and MTV Tr3s is pulling out all the stops to give fans one-of-a-kind access to the multi-faceted reggaetonero.

MTV Tr3s is giving Don Omar fans an unprecedented four weeks of programming and specials and looks at all sides of the artist's life, starting today, when a series of six highly innovative Don Omar Artist Speaking Tr3s vignettes begin airing. Other programming highlights include:

-- MTV Tr3s Live: Don Omar -- an exclusive live performance from the MTV Tr3s Studio, premieres on Saturday, April 25th at 2 PM. In this 30-minute live performance, Don introduces fans to tracks from his upcoming release, including Virtual Diva and Blue Zone.

-- YoYo!: Don Omar -- Don Omar shares with fans who he considers to be the hottest artists on the urban and reggaeton scene in this 30 minute special that premieres on Saturday, April 25th at 2:30 PM.

-- Rock Dinner: Don Omar -- Things get crazy when a mega Don Omar fan finds out they'll have Don over for dinner but that there's only four hours to cook! Once Don arrives, he surprises the winner with an impromptu performance for the chef and their friends. Rock Dinner: Don Omar premieres on Monday, June 1st at 9 PM.

Don Omar can also be seen playing a key role in Fast & Furious, the latest blockbuster from Universal Pictures. In the film, Don Omar is a member of Dom's (Vin Diesel) crew of bandits, alongside Tego Calderon. Don Omar's hit single Virtual Diva also appears in the movie's soundtrack and can be heard during a key scene between Vin and Paul Walker.
