Black Broadcasting Network Hires Paul Waters to Head Sales and Marketing Efforts
HOUSTON, April 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Black Broadcasting Network (BBN), the only 24/7 multiplatform network exclusively targeting 18-34 year old urban African-American audiences, today announced that media sales veteran Paul Waters had joined the network as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Waters brings over 20 years of experience in developing new business and creating innovative marketing programs for diverse industries from telecommunications to specialty foods.

Waters most recently served as Senior Vice President at OlympuSAT, the largest independent distributor of cable networks, where he directed efforts to increase advertising revenue and grow the affiliate base. He has previously assisted numerous other cable networks, including NBC Cable Nets and the Food Network, in marketing, distribution, and advertising sales. Waters has also consulted and provided counsel for a number of new technology companies including AccuWeather and Realtor.com.
Waters began his marketing career at New York Times Cable Television followed by work at Harrisburg ABC affiliate WHTM and TCI Cable. He earned a BA from Temple University in Philadelphia.
