RadioShack Continues Moving Consumers To Action - Launches Free Online DTV Transition Tutorial

    WHO:      RadioShack Corporation    WHAT:     RadioShack has launched an online DTV Transition Learning             Course available in both English and Spanish. The course helps             prepare consumers for the national analog-to-digital television             broadcast transition that is expected to be extended to June 12,             2009.              The two-lesson self-paced course can be viewed in about 60             minutes and leads consumers through a detailed program that             includes information on:              --  Does the DTV transition affect you?             --  How can you make a smooth transition so your TV viewing                 continues?             --  What is involved in connecting a digital converter box to an                 analog TV?               Upon completion, a knowledgeable online instructor is available             to answer questions posted to the message board by course             participants.    WHEN:     Currently available in RadioShack's online Learning Center, the             course will be available to consumers beyond the June 12, 2009             DTV transition extension.    WHERE:    RadioShack's online Learning Center is located at             http://learningcenter.radioshack.com/ and can be accessed from             the comfort of your own home.    WHY:      RadioShack continues moving consumers to action with increased             awareness, knowledge and product.              In addition to the online course, RadioShack is providing DTV             preparation classes in communities throughout the U.S. in             collaboration with the American Library Association.
