No Contract With 'View Systems' for Fiber Optic Work, Verizon Says

NEW YORK, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Two news releases issued on February 10 and 18 by View Systems Inc. falsely claim that the company has a contract with Verizon to install fiber-optic cabling in Virginia multidwelling units. Verizon has asked View Systems for a retraction.

The first news release (http://www.marketwire.com/press-release/View-Systems-Inc-947605.html) claims that View Systems signed a pact with H.C. Professional LLC to partner in installing fiber to 25,000 home units in Virginia. Neither company has a contract with Verizon, and neither is an authorized subcontractor for work installing fiber optics.

The second news release (http://money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/marketwire/0474955.htm) suggests a work schedule for the installations, and it is also untrue.

The news releases were published without Verizon's review, approval or consent. The company has asked that they be retracted, using the same news release distribution process as the original releases.
