Bette Midler Celebrates One Year of the Showgirl Must Go On With More Tickets for Sale

May and June 2009 performances go on sale Feb. 20

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Since February 2008, the "people's diva" has been giving her fans everything they want and more - including plenty of hits and glitz - in her spectacular Vegas show, The Showgirl Must Go On. Now celebrating one year of success, Bette Midler is continuing her 2009 schedule at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with 22 additional performances from May 27 through June 28, 2009.

Over the past year, The Showgirl Must Go On has continuously been on top of the Billboard BoxScore(TM) Concert Sales charts and has celebrated sold-out houses and critical-acclaim. Daily Variety called the show "a razzle dazzle spectacular," The Los Angeles Times proclaimed, "Bette Midler is brash, funny, schmaltzy, surprising, poignant, charming, provocative, witty, bawdy and, of course, Divine," and the New York Daily News says Miss M. "hits the jackpot" with the most exciting show of her career.

   --  May 27, 29, 30, 31   --  June 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 20, 21, 23, 24, 26, 27, 28

Tickets may also be purchased in person at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Box Office, which is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Showgirl Must Go On is performed approximately 100 times a year, five nights per week at 7:30 p.m.; the show is dark on Mondays and Thursdays.
