Remix's seventh-annual music-technology event to incorporate exclusive technology hours and enhanced programming

NEW YORK, FEB. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Penton Media's Remix Hotel Miami returns to the National Hotel in South Beach March 26-29, 2009 for its seventh-annual weekend of cutting-edge audio technology and music-production programming. Presented by Numark and Beatport, Remix Hotel Miami 2009 will also feature performances by some of dance music's leading artists - including Louie Vega, Josh Wink, Steve Lawler, Radio Slave, The Martinez Brothers, A-Trak, and more - through the daily Beatport Pool Party series.

The longest-running independent showcase during the week of Miami's Winter Music Conference, Remix Hotel Miami continues to establish itself as a staple annual event for the electronic-music industry while shaping the future of production in today's most progressive music genres. The event combines interactive workshops, product demonstrations, and master classes with performances and appearances by some of the world's top artists, producers, and DJs.

Open from 12 to 10 p.m. daily, Remix Hotel Miami will feature exclusive technology hours (12-3 p.m.) focusing on the latest music production technology and techniques, master class programming, expert panels, and networking. A four-day $75 All Access grants admission to these exclusive hours (Thursday, March 26-Saturday, March 28), as well the daily Beatport Pool Parties (3-10 p.m., Thursday, March 26-Sunday, March 29).

Presenting Partner Numark will debut its highly anticipated NS7 digital DJ platform at Remix Hotel Miami, offering DJs their first look at the new system. In addition, Technology Partners Pioneer, Roland, Pacemaker, JazzMutant, Stanton, KRK Systems, and many others will give attendees a unique taste of what the future holds in the world of modern music production and performance.

The free daily Beatport Pool Parties will feature poolside DJ sets and artist performances by Adam Beyer, ATFC, A-Trak, Boys Noize, Damian Lazarus, Dennis Ferrer, Hatiras, Johnny D, Josh Wink, Louie Vega, Marco Carola, Olivier Giacomotto, Radio Slave, Robbie Rivera, Sebastian Ingrosso, Steve Angello, Steve Lawler, The Martinez Brothers, Tiga, Tommie Sunshine, and many more.
