Speeders Producers Reveal the Top 5 Best Excuses for Speeding

TruTV's hit show SPEEDERS lists the most outrageous excuses they've heard from people trying to avoid speeding tickets.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- After over 1,000 pullovers, the producers of TruTV's hit show Speeders reveal the top five best excuses they've ever heard for speeding. The show goes coast-to-coast pulling over unsuspecting speeders and capturing real-life motorists red handed during their most embarrassing moments. Car chases, ridiculous excuses, unbelievable confessions, and unprovoked outbursts all get caught on tape during the exciting and dramatic half hour series.

Speeders airs every Thursday at 8PM ET, followed by Speeders Fight Back, where traffic violators go to court to plead their case!

I was trying to get to my best friend's house as fast as possible,        because her fiance just left her for another man and she's going to        have to call off the wedding. - San Juan Capistrano, CA - Speeding        89 in a 65...given a citation.    2.   We're waitresses at Hooters and we're rushing to work because        if we're late we'll get a bad section and won't earn enough money        to pay our rent!  If the officer will let us go for showing our        cleavage, we're more than willing to show our cleavage! - Broward,        CO., FL - Speeding 91 in a 65...given a citation that they contest        on Speeders Fight Back.    1.  I need to give this prostitute a ride home. - Chattanooga, TN -       Illegally parked (on an off ramp!)...given a citation.
