South Florida Teen Talk Show Host Chelsea Krost Heads to Washington DC to Cover Presidential Inauguration

BOCA RATON, Fla., Jan. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Seventeen year old teen philanthropist and host of Teen Talk Live, Chelsea Krost, is taking her talk show to Washington DC to cover the inauguration of Barack Obama.

"I am honored to report this historical presidential inauguration from a teen's perspective. Through my show I've been trying to bring about change and make a difference in teenagers' lives. To me, Barack Obama also stands for change. He is an inspiration to my generation."

After listening to some of Krost's broadcasts, the non-profit group People to People, a group dedicated to promoting international understanding through travel and educational experiences, became so enamored with her they asked her to cover the presidential inauguration as their exclusive teen journalist.

Arriving on Saturday, January 17th, Krost will follow a tight 5-day itinerary including trips to local capital sites and meetings with important figures including Mary Eisenhower, granddaughter of the late President Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Ken Walsh, reporter from the US News and World Report. The highlight of Chelsea's trip will occur on Tuesday, January 20th when Krost will attend the swearing in of President-elect Barack Obama.

Recognized by local media as the show that educates teens on teenage topics, world problems and philanthropy, Teen Talk Live provides teens with a safe outlet in which they can voice their opinions and gain advice. Stay tuned to Teen Talk Live for updates on Krost's inauguration documentary.
