Exclusive Gatorade "G Gym" Offers Custom Star Workouts With In-Demand Celebrity Trainers Gunnar Peterson and Kathy Kaehler and Will Raise Money for Charity

PARK CITY, Utah, Jan. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The annual film festival in Park City, Utah, usually known for power lunches, will now feature power crunches thanks to Gatorade creating the first ever full-service fitness center, called the "G Gym." Actors Eliza Dushku, Nick Cannon, Anne Heche, Brittany Snow, Gaius Charles, Tom Arnold and football star Terrell Owens, all in town for the festival, are some of the many celebrities to snatch up appointments with top Hollywood trainers, many of whom will also help raise a "G" or $1,000 for charity, up to $20,000.

Gatorade created the G Gym after hearing from celebrity trainers that their clients have a tough time fitting in workouts at the festival. Actors, musicians and other entertainment industry power players will receive exclusive passes to the gym and can schedule appointments with top celebrity trainers Gunnar Peterson and Kathy Kaehler, who have worked with many A-List stars. Peterson and Kaehler consulted with Gatorade to ensure the G Gym is equipped with all the star essentials including: a yoga/pilates quiet room, top notch cardio and weight equipment, and a fully stocked Gatorade drink bar so power players can stay hydrated at the high altitude and get the most out of their workouts. G Gym guests will also be able to select custom workouts designed by Peterson and Kaehler to match the newly enhanced Gatorade product lines:

-- "BE TOUGH" - a strength workout -- "NO EXCUSES" - a mini training session with intervals -- "BRING IT" - a cardio session with circuit training -- "SHINE ON" - a yoga session

Not only can G Gym guests keep their New Year's fitness resolutions, but they can also benefit a good cause by "Giving A G for Charity." For every celebrity who rides the "G" bike, Gatorade will donate a "G" - aka $1,000 - to the charity of his or her choice. Up to $20,000 will be donated to charity.

The grand opening of the G Gym, which is centrally located at Village at the Yard, 1251 Kearns Boulevard, between the two main screening facilities and official festival hotels, will take place January 16 and will be open from January 16 - 20 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. by appointment only. The Gatorade "G" represents the heart, hustle, and soul of athleticism - and is a badge of pride for anyone who sweats, no matter where they're active.
