Ticketmaster's Ticket System now Operating in the Society of London Theatre's tkts Booths

Ticketmaster's Ticket System now Operating in the Society of London Theatre's tkts Booths

LONDON, December 10/PRNewswire/ -- Ticketmaster, a Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. (NASDAQ:TKTM) company, is pleased to announce that as part of their evolving relationship with the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), the world-famous tkts booth in Leicester Square and the new tkts booth at Brent Cross Shopping Centre are now also Ticketmaster Ticket Centres.

The partnership means that in addition to the discounted late-availability theatre tickets already offered, tkts will now also be selling Ticketmaster's full range of theatre, sport, family attractions and music events via the unique e-ticket centre product. With the use of web-based technology, tkts has real-time access to Ticketmaster inventory, and can sell direct to consumers, in most cases printing tickets for the customer to take away with them.

In time for Christmas, London tkts booth customers will now be able to buy tickets for the London's Winter Ice Rinks at locations such as Somerset House, Hampton Court and the Natural History Museum. Customers will also have access to the full range of upcoming Christmas pantomimes and other festive family events.

Chris Edmonds, Managing Director, Ticketmaster UK, said: "As part of our continuing partnership with the Society of London Theatre and tkts, we are delighted that customers will now be able to buy tickets for Ticketmaster's wide range of live entertainment events as well as tkts' already existing discount theatre tickets."

Paul James, Commercial Manager, The Society of London Theatre said: "This is a great development for tkts customers who come to Leicester Square from all over the world; they can now buy not just bargain theatre tickets, but a whole range of tickets to exciting events and attractions via the Ticketmaster Ticket Centre system."
