Plymouth Rock Studios Announces First 'Series'

"The Series: Plymouth Rock Studios" to give an inside look at Hollywood East

PLYMOUTH, Mass., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Plymouth Rock Studios announced their first original series today, to be produced by Rock Media, the studio's production company. The Series: Plymouth Rock Studios, which will air January 12, 2009 is a documentary/comedy that will follow the studio's executives, employees, interns as well as its partners and celebrity guests over the next two years as they build New England's first movie studio. HollywoodEastTV.com is the only place to catch episodes of The Series.

"Movie studios aren't built everyday. We're going to document the whole process and share it with the world as it's happening," says Rich Kearney, a producer on The Series and Vice President of Rock Media.

As Chairman of Plymouth Rock Studios, David Kirkpatrick will be featured regularly on The Series. "The star of the show is not me, the star is the first green, smart studio on earth. We'll have everyone from Academy Award winning actors to robots from the MIT Media Lab. People are going to love it," says Kirkpatrick.

The Series new episodes will be posted daily on the studio's Hollywood East TV digital channel starting January 12th. "We plan to develop The Series for linear television at some point, but the web is the best platform for telling our story on a daily basis. Plus it provides access for our global audience," says Josh Bethoney, President of Rock Media and one of the show's producers.
