New York City Selected to Join DJ AM & Travis Barker in Nationwide New Year's Eve Party Hosted by New Year's Nation (NYN)

NYN to connect Cipriani Wall Street with nine other U.S. cities for "Simultaneous Celebration" including nationwide performance by Travis Barker and DJ AM (TRVSDJAM)

NEW YORK, Dec. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- New Year's Nation (NYN), a high-end events and promotions company that leverages technology to create simultaneous social experiences for young professionals in major markets around the country, today announced that New York City has been selected as one of 10 host cities for NYN's simultaneous New Year's Eve celebration. The national New Year's Eve celebration, hosted locally at Cipriani Wall Street, will feature onsite entertainment by Stretch Armstrong, DJ RiskOne and DLJ and a live, nationwide performance by Travis Barker and DJ AM (TRVSDJAM) through NYN-TV.

The concept of the nationwide, simultaneous party was born in 2006, when NYN CEO Jann Yogman hosted the first NYN New Year's Eve party in five U.S. cities. This year, New York City will join NYN's New Year's Eve celebrations in Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Portland and Seattle for a simultaneous nationwide party across four time zones.

TRVSDJAM will unite on stage to headline the NYN celebration live from NYN's Los Angeles New Year's Eve Party at The Lot. The TRVSDJAM set will be streamed live in high-definition (HD) quality on the Internet at www.newyearsnation.com, and broadcast live to NYN parties across the U.S. through NYN-TV, a live, HD quality broadcast powered by BitGravity, a Content Delivery Network (CDN) for interactive broadcast. Through NYN-TV, guests at the NYN party in New York City, as well as Atlanta, Dallas, Denver, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Portland and Seattle will be able to see TRVSDJAM's performance live on giant projection screens and dance to their music.
