               DEBUT AT L.A. LIVE THURSDAY, DECEMBER 4 AT 7PM    WHAT:      To launch the holiday season and "officially" open L.A. LIVE,              Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, University of Southern California              Football Coach Pete Carroll, AEG President & CEO Tim Leiweke,              Natalie Cole and a SURPRISE 'SUPERSTAR' CELEBRITY guest will              debut L.A. LIVE's "Light of the Angels" -- an exclusively              commissioned production combining more than one million lights,              holiday music, 11 giant video screens, live performances and a              spectacular digital steel tree sculpture -- at its world              premiere Thursday, December 4 at 7PM.  To ring in the holidays,              Natalie Cole will perform a festive song and kick-off the              celebration.     "Light of the Angels" Highlights:    -- Seven minute, multi-dimensional light display using XL Sphere      technology will play (on the hour) beginning at 7pm PST each night in      December   -- 37,500 lb. tree sculpture (40 feet in diameter) will soar 54-feet above      L.A. LIVE's Nokia Plaza and will be covered with 11,382 energy      efficient XL Sphere LED lights -- the only 360 degree video light      source in the world      -- Each of the spheres has 42 individually programmable LEDs; together,         these 462,000 LEDs make the surface of the tree a one-of-a-kind         video screen upon which video, still images and lighting effects         will be displayed   -- 75,000 lights that adorn 50 ten-foot angels throughout the L.A.
