Local Employer Armour-Eckrich Donates Food and Volunteers to 'Extreme Makeover: Home Edition' Rebuild in Chapman, KS

       Donations support rebuild efforts for town devastated by tornado    WHAT:     Armour-Eckrich Meats LLC, represented by their ECKRICH(R) brand,             will extend their ongoing support of the Chapman, KS community             with a donation of three days worth of Eckrich products for the             "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" rebuild of the town, along with             a year of free groceries for the episode's Hero Family.             Devastated by a June 2008 tornado, Chapman was home to 18             employees at Armour-Eckrich's Junction City plant. All of those             employees were directly affected by the disaster and two lost             their homes.              Throughout the rebuild weekend, Armour-Eckrich will provide             volunteer workers and meals at the ECKRICH(R) Fun House and             Grilling Station. Eckrich favorites, including hot dogs and             smoked sausages, will be available for volunteers, staff and             cast members near the construction site and during the VIP and             cast parties. Samples of Eckrich products will be distributed to             spectators during construction. In addition to a new home from             "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition".
