Buzz Lightyear and John Lasseter Head to New York City for Thanksgiving

    WHO:    John Lasseter, Chief Creative Officer of Pixar Animation Studios           and Walt Disney Animation Studios, will accompany Buzz Lightyear           down Broadway as an official balloon handler.            John Lasseter will be available for interviews the evening prior           to the parade at the balloon inflation. Disney-Pixar's beloved character Buzz Lightyear goes to Herald Square and Beyond when he makes his Parade debut as a larger-than-life character helium balloon. His appearance celebrates the return of the "Toy Story" franchise to the big screen -- this time in Disney Digital 3-D. The original "Toy Story" hits theaters on Oct. 2, 2009, and "Toy Story 2" debuts Feb. 12, 2010. "Toy Story 3," a brand new adventure, will be in theaters June 18, 2010.
