WITNESS: People from ACORN are always asking me to sign a registration to vote. So, I do it to help them for their job.

QUESTION: Did you tell them that in fact you'd already registered to vote?

WITNESS: Yes, but, I mean, they ask me or come up with a sob story of why they need the signature. And I just write it for them. I didn't know that you only had to register once. I wouldn't of did it.

   QUESTION: Did you tell them that you'd already registered?    WITNESS: Yes.    QUESTION: What did they tell you?   

WITNESS: And they had told me, I mean, they told me that it's cool to sign again because they need the signature because they get paid off of signatures. So they just needed the signature and they told me I wasn't going get in trouble.

QUESTION: Did they offer you anything Mr. Johnson in regard to signing?

WITNESS: I mean some of their employees, you know, they really needed the signature, so they be like I give you a cigarette or I give you a dollar for the signature.

   QUESTION: Did they give a cigarette or a dollar?    WITNESS: Yeah.
