Parlor Live Takes Center Stage in December

Unique, downtown Bellevue performance space offers 3,000 square feet and seating for 280, state-of-the-art sound, and full-service food and beverage

BELLEVUE, Wash., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Bellevue's retail corridor is about to get even more entertaining. Steven Olson, owner of The Parlor Billiards & Spirits, is moving into the newest phase of his planned, multifaceted, Parlor Collection with Parlor Live, a dedicated performance venue on the third floor of Lincoln Square that brings new entertainment opportunities to the Eastside. Parlor Live will be expressly for live performances such as comedy, live music, dj's and dancing and other stage acts. It will host both public and private events, with the first bookings slated in December.

"The Parlor Billiards & Spirits gave the people what they wanted in a world class billiard hall, and we followed that with Ultralounge at The Parlor to provide a club atmosphere, and now we've moved into another phase of the Parlor Collection with Parlor Live, which brings the Eastside the performances they'd otherwise have to go elsewhere to find," Steven Olson said. "We're excited to ramp up the caliber of local entertainment options with the only Eastside entertainment venue of its kind."

The 3,000 square foot venue (5,000 including two private rooms shared by The Parlor Billiards & Spirits) seats 280 or accommodates a standing room crowd of 400. The venue includes an intelligent room with stage lighting, 3-HD camera recording system, and a 16-channel digital sound system. Parlor Live invested deeply to ensure music and sound will be delivered to every seat in the house with full fidelity and clarity. The digital line array system, as used in the best concert venues all over the world, has nearly 22,000 watts of available power. Intelligent stage lighting, high definition plasma displays and high resolution cameras provide visual augmentation for a sensory rich experience at your seat. The state-of-the-art technology will also enable high quality DVDs & CDs of the performances to be available for purchase.

Parlor Live is currently booking 2009 national and local entertainment including comedy, live music, dj's with dancing, dinner theatre, presentations, seminars and auctions. Bookings for corporate and private functions in December are currently underway. Parlor Live also has the ability to source talent for private functions based on the event format.

The Parlor Collection has provided the Eastside a vital source of premier billiards, nightlife and private functions for nearly three years. The collection includes 20,000 square feet of entertainment: The Parlor Billiards & Spirits, with billiards, inventive cocktails, full-service dining and 10 plasma screen televisions; Ultralounge at The Parlor, a Vegas-style club within a club; two additional private, pool-inclusive spaces; and the forthcoming Parlor Live, all located on the third floor of Lincoln Square.
