NBC 5 Tops Lone Star Emmy Awards With Highest Honor: Station Excellence

DALLAS and FORT WORTH, Texas, Oct. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- NBC 5 continues to be recognized as a leader in Texas broadcasting. The 6th Annual Lone Star Emmy Award winners were announced on October 18, 2008 at the Verizon Wireless Theatre in Houston, TX. The awards recognize outstanding achievement by individuals and programs broadcast during the 2007-2008 calendar year.

NBC 5 was honored with the highest Lone Star Emmy Award for "Station Excellence" and 13 additional awards in news, sports, promotions, photography, editing, writing, audio and more.
