Lead Actor, Producers of Acclaimed 'Bella' Film Make Guest Appearances at Two California Book-Launch Events
SAN FRANCISCO, October 10, 2008 - Speaking at two California special-invitation-only events to promote the new book, Behind Bella: The Amazing Stories of "Bella" and the Lives It's Changed (written by Tim Drake and published by Ignatius Press), the "Bella" film's lead actor/producer, Eduardo Verastagui, and producers, Leo Severino and Alejandro Monteverde, will make personal remarks to the audiences about their involvement in the film and the real-life stories it spawned. Mr. Verastagui will also personally sign copies of Behind Bella.
"Bella," produced by the new independent film company, Metanoia Films, tells the story of a young woman caught up in a crisis pregnancy and of those who helped her. It was the number-one rated movie of 2007 and won the prestigious "People's Choice Award" at the Toronto Film Festival. The new book, Behind Bella, tells the remarkable stories of how numerous lives were transformed by the film's life-affirming message -- some even saved.
