During the Westwood store event Oct. 18, Declare Yourself will have on exhibit an original copy of the Declaration of Independence, giving customers the last opportunity this year to view the historic document in a public venue. Customers who attend this event can also participate in a hot new dominos game called "Big Stakes5," where the winner will receive a prize package that includes a copy of the book, "DECLARE YOURSELF: Speak, Connect, Act, Vote," signed by Lear.
"Declare Yourself has registered millions of young voters who might not otherwise have voted in previous primaries and elections. As a headquarters for knowledge and entertainment, we're pleased to be able to team with Declare Yourself to assist people in getting registered to vote and learn about early voting and polling places, as well as provide them with nonpartisan information on the presidential candidates," said Rob Gruen, executive vice president of Merchandising and Marketing for Borders Group.
