Andrew Lipson, who developed digital expertise early in his career at Viacom New Media and served in operational management roles at Cablevision and Fuse and was a producer for key "Video on the Net" conferences for Pulvermedia, joined the Company as vice president-operations, based in New York.
"Andrew is a proven manager who was at the cutting edge of rich media on the Internet, but also brings extensive creative and broadcast skills," said Laurence Moskowitz, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Medialink. "With experience working with clients ranging from A&E Television Networks to Harley-Davidson, and a history of developing mission-critical websites as well as managing broadcast production units, Andrew is a perfect fit."
Lipson, a strategic and tactical consultant who assists clients in creating and distributing video content to broadcast, Internet and mobile platforms, will lead Medialink's efforts in further developing Mediaseed(TM), its rich media, Internet-based content management and distribution platform, as well as managing the creative, distribution and monitoring efforts of its traditional broadcast services. He will report directly to Larry Thomas, Chief Operating Officer of Medialink.
"We welcome Andrew's expertise, professionalism and creative passion as we continue to provide our clients with blended on-air and on-line solutions to help them deliver key messages to specific target audiences," said Thomas. "Whether we're engaging decision-makers directly or through traditional and new media outlets, Andrew will be a great asset for Medialink and our clients."
"I'm excited about the opportunity to further leverage Medialink's existing creativity, history of innovation and infrastructure to help create even more powerful capabilities and campaigns for clients," Lipson said. "The combination of 'industrial-strength' facilities - from television and radio studios to digital content management - and very new-wave creative talent, I see opportunities all across the horizon."
