New York City Transplant Brings Recital Debut to Milwaukee's Helen Bader Recital Hall
NEW YORK, July 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Mezzo-soprano Shannon Leigh Rolbiecki and Soprano Kylee Remington will be performing in "Divine Harmony: A Duet Recital" in Milwaukee at the Helen Bader Recital Hall at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music, 1584 North Prospect Ave, on Saturday, August 16th at 7pm.
Ms. Rolbiecki and Ms. Remington will be performing classical vocal pieces by Purcell, Scarlatti, Mozart, Debussy, and Brahms. This will be Ms. Rolbiecki's professional recital debut.
Ms. Rolbiecki is from Kiel, Wisconsin and Ms. Remington is from South Gate, MI.
Ms Rolbiecki has spent several years singing jazz and cabaret at various venues in New York City and returned to classical singing in 2005. Since then, she has performed various operatic roles and has sung many pieces from her sizeable Art Song repertoire in recital.
Ms. Remington and Ms. Rolbiecki met in the summer of 2007 at the Crittenden Opera Studio in Washington D.C., where they performed a series of duets from Rossini's opera, "Semiramide".
