Gig Junkie made the Richardson family from Southampton the luckiest family on earth when they won the Glastonbury VIP Competition worth GBP10,000. They were chauffer driven to and from the festival, given VIP backstage passes and stayed at the luxurious Camp Kerala. Matt Richardson said:

"Having won VIP passes last year I thought it was a wind up when we got the call from Gig Junkie! This was the best Glasto ever! I am an absolute Gig Junkie and I saw all my favourite bands perform, and I got to meet most of them in the VIP area for photos and autographs!"

The Richardsons were drawn from almost 10,000 entrants and couldn't have been more deserving! The whole family are absolute Gig Junkies, going to lots of gigs and festivals and have won loads of competitions for tickets and prizes.

Gig Junkie will be launching their Glastonbury 2009 VIP Experience competition again very soon!

The Gig Junkie team also decamped to Glastonbury and when we weren't checking out some amazing bands we took the time to run a couple of surveys. We asked over 2,000 Glastonbury Goers as they arrived and before the bands started playing:
