Splash Media, LP Announces Agreement With Former Golf Channel Exec, Chuck Conner

DALLAS, June 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Splash Media, LP, an Emmy award-winning innovator in digital video publishing and internet television announced today that it has finalized agreements with Chuck Conner, former Golf Channel ad executive, to build and drive Splash Media's sponsorship and advertising programs.

Chuck Conner is CEO of Conner Consultants based in Orlando, FL and specializes in sponsorship, programming distribution and sales representation for select companies across the United States. Prior to creating his own company, Conner had more than 19 years of experience and an extensive background in sponsorship sales, distribution and marketing on a national level. Conner spent 12 1/2 years at the Golf Channel in various management capacities. From 1995 - 2002, he served as Regional Vice President for the Golf Channel's Affiliate Sales division. Most recently, he focused on strategic partnerships where he oversaw all sponsorship activity within the automotive and technology categories, as well as overseeing several of the networks most high-profile sponsorship platforms, including Golf Channel HD, the PGA TOUR Fall Series, the Champions Tour and the On the Road tournament activation program.

"Splash made the strategic decision to use an industry veteran to represent this advertising and sponsorship opportunity to the marketplace," says Chris Kraft, president and founder of Splash Media. "Chuck brings a level of experience and a track record in the industry that is a perfect fit for the vision and direction we are heading in with our vertical networks."

Chuck Conner joins Splash Media in an effort to build an extensive sponsorship and advertising program to complement Splash's suite of online TV networks. Splash's newest network, The Mortgage Professional Training Network, MPTN, is slated to broadcast this summer to the mortgage industry. Conner's vast experience in broadcast sponsorships and advertising will bring to the table an important facet to the channel's future success.

"I'm very excited to be working with the Splash Media team," says Conner. "Their creation of industry specific television networks will change the face of traditional television and provide sponsors with the opportunity to reach their target with near zero waste. The future really is here."
