Jennifer Demme Joins City Lights Television
Will Serve as Vice President of Production
NEW YORK, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Jennifer Demme has joined City Lights Television as Vice President of Production and will oversee television and digital projects. Demme's first assignment will be City Lights Television's new documentary series, "3 Americas," to be directed by two time Academy Award winner Barbara Kopple.

Demme joins City Lights Television from Fuse Networks where she was Executive in Charge of Production overseeing studio and field production, events, tours, concert series and production development. She was responsible for many company firsts including the first live commercial free hi-def concert broadcast (Fuse Rocks the Garden: Foo Fighters), Fuse's first tentpole event and highest rated network special to date (The Fuse/Fangoria Chainsaw Awards) and the network's first ever coverage of music and film from the 2008 Sundance Film Festival.

Demme brings over 15 years of experience in production to City Lights with credits including television franchises MTV's Video Music Awards, VH1's "200 Greatest Pop Culture Icons", and the feature films "The Yards" and "Rounders".

Launched in 2003, six time Emmy nominated and award-winning City Lights has produced over 500 episodes of television for such networks as MTV, Lifetime, Nickelodeon, VH1, AMC, Oxygen, The N, HGTV, Fine Living, WE, Science Channel, Travel Channel and History Channel. Past awards include a 2005 Gracie for Best Talk Show Series, "Movies 101" and a 2006 Gracie for Best Reality Series, "Cover Shot." In 2007, City Lights won its first Emmy for Lifeskool's "Walking with Johnny." In 2008, City Lights Television is currently contracted to produce over 250 new episodes.
