High School Football Game of the Week Comes to MyTV9

NEW HAVEN, Conn., June 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Now, you don't have to make it to the field to see the big game. High school football is coming to Connecticut's Sports Zone, MyTV9. Every week a selected High School Football Game of the Week will be streamed live on wtnh.com and then broadcast later the same weekend on MyTV9. From September through November, games will be chosen from match-ups of Division 1 football teams across the state. The High School Football Game of the Week will be one of the biggest high school match-ups of that week. The first game in the line-up is between the Whalers of New London and the Tigers of Hand High, on September 11th.

The High School Football Game of the Week will be streamed each week, live at 7pm on wtnh.com. It will then be broadcast on Saturday night, at 7pm on Connecticut's Sports Zone, MyTV9. Now, local fans and friends who can't make the game will be able to watch the game on Saturday night. Plus, fans anywhere in the world will be able to watch the games and follow their teams live on the internet.

MyTV9's High School Football Game of the Week will be hosted by the Sports Team 8 staff of Marc Robbins, John Pierson and Noah Finz. Sports Team 8 already produces another show dedicated to local sports, the Emmy Award winning, monthly magazine show, Huskies All Access highlighting University of Connecticut athletics.
