Eutelsat New Senior Executive Appointment: Chief Risk Officer Appointed
PARIS, June 9/PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eutelsat Communications (Euronext Paris: ETL) today announced the appointment of Ignacio Gonzalez Nunez to the newly-created post of Chief Risk Officer. Ignacio's activities will cover identification and implementation of a coordinated cross-departmental approach to Risk Management for Eutelsat and its subsidiaries.

"The creation of this new post will enable us to build a comprehensive Risk Management programme and promote this model across Eutelsat and our subsidiaries in Europe, Asia and the Americas."
Ignacio has 15 years of experience in the space and satellite telecommunications business, with specific focus on commercial and marketing activities as well as on business development. He joined Eutelsat in 2003 as Regional Director for Spain and Latin America and as advisor to the CEO. He was previously deputy CEO at Hispasat. Since February 2007 Ignacio has represented Eutelsat on the Board of the European Satellite Operators Association (ESOA). He was Vice-Chairman of ESOA's Board for a 12-month period to May this year.
