Oscar(R) Nominee Abigail Breslin to Make Exciting Announcement Regarding Her Upcoming Film 'Kit Kittredge: An American Girl' on May 16th in Los Angeles

Picturehouse to join with American Express for Exclusive Theatrical Engagements in Select Markets Starting June 20th

LOS ANGELES, May 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Oscar(R) nominee Abigail Breslin, who stars as Kit Kittredge: An American Girl, and Picturehouse will make a very special announcement today at American Girl Place(R) Los Angeles.

Breslin will announce that Picturehouse will offer a special 10-day exclusive theatrical engagement of the film in select markets: Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, Dallas and Atlanta. With the purchase of each premium ticket ($20) the patron will receive a limited edition t-shirt. In addition, those who purchase a ticket with an American Express Card(R) will also receive a full-color collector's edition program.

In the first feature film based on the hugely popular American Girl(R) book series, Breslin ("Little Miss Sunshine") stars as a resourceful young girl whose bravery, compassion and determination help her solve a mystery that saves her family's home during the Great Depression.
