Just this week, the Academy of Country Music's Board of Directors honored the group with the Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award, which is presented to an outstanding pioneer of country music. The Oak Ridge Boys have had an incredible 17 number one hits, and have been honored with numerous awards including Grammys and ACMs.

The Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award is the latest from the Academy of Country Music, which previously named the Oak Ridge Boys Vocal Group of the Year as well as Album of the Year.
