"Hannah Montana" mega-star Miley Cyrus (#19) re-enters this week's Lycos 50, skyrocketing 633 percent following controversy over a recent Vanity Fair photo spread. The Vanity Fair photos, shot by acclaimed photographer Annie Leibovitz, include the 15-year-old Cyrus apparently wrapped in a satin bedsheet with her back exposed. Cyrus has apologized to fans for the photos which accompany an interview with Miley and her father, and singer, Billy Ray Cyrus, who also stars alongside his daughter in "Hannah Montana." Meanwhile, Ashlee Simpson (#1) knocks "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria (#9) out of the top spot on this week's top search list, and peer-to-peer file sharing protocol BitTorrent (#7) sees its highest ranking ever, generating more search interest this week than Britney Spears (#12), Angelina Jolie (#14) and Facebook (#15). And if web search activity is any indication, Americans are standing by their mailboxes, eagerly awaiting their U.S. stimulus checks, stimulating online interest in the rebate checks, up 200 percent over the past week.
