Sonic Debuts Lemony Pro Subtitling Suite

First EDGe Program Release Helps Enhance Sonic's Scenarist High-Definition Authoring Platform

Lemony Pro is the first in a series of innovative applications and utilities slated for release through Sonic's Extended Developer Group (EDGe) program. The EDGe program supports third-party developers releasing products that extend the capabilities of Sonic's Scenarist(R) authoring platform and help streamline the creation of advanced Blu-ray Disc (BD) titles.

Lemony Pro brings together in a single package the ability to create, import, integrate, stylize, check, correct, and export subtitles and captions tailored to a wide range of applications, including not only optical disc formats but also film, Line-21 captioning, and Web delivery. Lemony Pro's capabilities include professional-level subtitle manipulation operations such as time calculations, text conversions, spell-checking, error reporting, sub- picture conversion, OCR, file browsing, track comparison, and karaoke.
