BabyCenter Survey Finds Most New Parents Believe Their Child's Name Will Contribute to Success in Life
BabyCenter, has released the results of a survey that sheds light on how parents choose a name for their baby. For many, this is one of the first major challenges they face as a parent. BabyCenter found that three percent of parents would change their child's name if they could, and fifty-eight percent believe a child's name contributes to his or her success in life, making the naming process even more difficult.

New-Car Shoppers Say Gas Prices Affecting Consumer Spending
According to the latest Kelley Blue Book Marketing Research study elevating gas prices have in-market new-car shoppers considering vehicles they would have otherwise ignored. The February 2008 results reveal that almost two-thirds, or sixty-four percent of shoppers, have changed their minds or are now thinking about vehicles they normally would not have considered before. In the last week, oil jumped to a record one hundred and two dollars a barrel signaling a possible price hike at the pump over the next few weeks. Nearly thirty-two percent of new-vehicle shoppers in the Kelley Blue Book Marketing Research study claim that if gas prices jump even twenty-five cents, they will begin looking at more fuel-efficient vehicles.
