NEW YORK, March 26 /PRNewswire/ -- Nickelodeon's rockin' tweens, The Naked Brothers Band, hit the open road and head to the Midwest on their first national rock tour in the upcoming new episode of the mockumentary series premiering Saturday, April 19, at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT). The half-hour episode, titled "Cleveland", finds brothers, rockers and real-life musicians Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff on tour with their band mates as they travel in groovy 70's style aboard their very own Naked Brothers' psychedelic-themed tour bus. The episode also includes the debut of the band's latest song, "Body I Occupy," which is one of 14 new, original songs featured on the upcoming new CD. The series airs regularly on Nickelodeon Saturday nights at 8:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

Nickelodeon and Columbia Records will release The Naked Brothers Band's highly anticipated second album, I Don't Want To Go To School, on Tuesday, April 15. The album includes 14 original songs from the second season of The Naked Brothers Band TV series, including the first single, "I Don't Want To Go To School." All songs on the album feature music and lyrics written by Nat Wolff, except "Why," "Three Is Enough" and "Changing" which were written by Alex Wolff. I Don't Want To Go To School is produced and arranged by Michael Wolff (Nat and Alex's real-life and television dad) and composer Michael A. Levine ("The Simpsons Movie" and "Bee Movie.") The Naked Brothers Band will also perform their new single, "I Don't Want To Go To School", live for the first time on Nickelodeon's 2008 Kids' Choice Awards, Saturday, March 29 (8-9:30 p.m. ET/PT).

In "Cleveland" the fans on tour are wild for Nat and additional bodyguards are hired to help protect him. Thomas is sick and tired of Nat getting all the attention and the bands attempts to make him feel better have the opposite effect. But a misquote in an interview inadvertently makes Thomas Cleveland's favorite son and saves the day for him and everyone.

Fans of the hit series can relive every moment of the first season with the recent DVD release of The Naked Brothers Band: Season 1, which is currently available at selected retailers across the country. The two-disc collection is jam-packed with all 13 season-one episodes and exciting bonus features including web-episodes and rockin' music videos. The DVD is produced by Nickelodeon Home Entertainment and distributed by Paramount Home Entertainment.

The series is created, executive produced, written and directed by Polly Draper (thirtysomething) who doubles as off-camera mom to Nat Wolff and Alex Wolff. She was recently nominated for a 2008 Writers Guild Award in the category of Children's Episodic & Specials for the episode titled "Nat is a Stand Up Guy." Celebrated jazz musician/composer Michael Wolff (The Arsenio Hall Show) -- the stars' real-life dad and Draper's husband -- keeps it all in the family but plays against type as the screen tweens' musically inept father and serves as the series' music supervisor/co-executive producer. Along with Draper, Albie Hecht (The Rugrats Movie, The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events) serves as executive producer of the series in association with Nickelodeon Television.

The series is shot on location in Brooklyn, New York and launched internationally in spring 2007 on Nickelodeon UK. The series continues to roll out across Nick's 31 channels world-wide, concluding with Nick Holland in February 2008. The Naked Brothers Band has been nominated for two 2007 Nickelodeon Australia Kids' Choice Awards, a 2007 Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Award, and the movie received a nomination for a 2007 Teen Choice Award. Additionally, Nat Wolff, Alex Wolff, and Michael Wolff are all recipients of the BMI 2007 Cable Award.

The premiere of The Naked Brothers Band television series delivered Nickelodeon's highest-rated premiere in seven years with kids 6-11 and the series quickly became one of the top programs for kids 6-11 and tweens on television. The Naked Brothers Band, rocked its second season hour-long premiere on Monday, Jan. 21, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, ranking as the top-rated show for tweens on all television (broadcast and cable) for the night. The special, titled "Sidekicks," drew an 8.4/1.8 million with tweens 9-14 (up +192% over last year's like time period), marking the series' highest-rated performance ever with that demographic.
