Line 6 Extends Its Line of Award-Winning Lowdown(R) Bass Amps

-Coveted Bass Tones Ready to Take the Stage in 400- and 750-watt Models-

CALABASAS, Calif., March 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Line 6, Inc. (http://www.line6.com/), the industry leader in amp-modeling technology, announces LowDown LD400 Pro 2x10 combo, and HD400 and HD750 heads, the newest ribcage-rattling additions to the LowDown family of bass amplifiers.

After falling head over heels for the sounds and features of the original, lower-wattage LowDown bass amps, artists began demanding bigger, louder, world-tour-worthy Line 6 bass rigs. From these demands, the LowDown LD400 Pro, HD400 and HD750 were born.

LowDown LD400 Pro, HD400 and HD750 include the full feature set of the original LowDown family: a complete palette of bass tones from five distinct amp models inspired by the sounds of legendary amplifiers and classic setups.

Fully loaded, each LowDown boasts a studio-quality compressor, synth bass and three Smart Control FX including Chorus, Envelope Filter and Octaver. Other intuitive features include an integrated chromatic tuner and four user-programmable memories (expanding to 36 with a Line 6 FBV(TM) pedal). And, of course, each LowDown amp features a balanced XLR direct out ideal for live performance or direct recording.

LowDown HD750, the big brother, pushes 750 watts at 4 ohms, LowDown HD400 pushes 400 watts at 4 ohms and LowDown LD400 Pro pushes 400 watts through two 10" speakers and a compression driver horn.

"The new LowDown bass amps will excite disciples of every bass playing style," remarks Rich Renken, Line 6 Product Manager. "The color and authenticity in these sounds will make you wish the show would never end!"
