Hallmark Teams With Universal Music Enterprises for New Line of Premium E-cards
E-cards Feature Popular Songs From Musical Greats
SANTA MONICA, Calif., March 31 /PRNewswire/ -- As people continue to connect through music, the popularity of musical e-cards has skyrocketed. Hallmark Cards, Inc., the largest greeting card company in the U.S., is featuring music exclusively from Universal Music Group, the world's largest music company, for Hallmark's first set of premium musical e-cards. The musical e-cards will feature original recordings from some of the world's most popular artists.
The musical e-cards, which will be available in April on hallmark.com, are 15-30 seconds in length. From timeless romantic gems such as Barry White's "You're The First, The Last, My Everything" and "Can't Get Enough Of Your Love" to upbeat perennials "Celebration" by Kool & The Gang and "Hot Stuff" by Donna Summer, the new line of e-cards offers unique greetings.
"Hallmark.com's e-greetings with music focus on how music takes people to a special time and place," says Steve Ruschill, Interactive Director, Hallmark. "The musical e-cards are playful, memorable and help people connect with each other in the way only music and a Hallmark sentiment can."
"Not only has it all been said before, it's all been sung before," adds Mike Davis, Executive Vice President & General Manager, Universal Music Enterprises, the U.S. catalog and special markets entity for Universal Music Group. "The vast and wide-ranging catalog of Universal Music Group is a goldmine for musical memories and for expressing any emotion in a song."
The musical e-cards available exclusively on Hallmark.com are $1.99 each.
The other musical e-cards feature "Funky Town" (Lipps, Inc.), "Push It" (Salt-n-Pepa), "Is This Love" (Whitesnake), "All Star" (Smashmouth), "Jungle Boogie" and "Ladies Night" (Kool & The Gang), "Mr. Roboto" (Styx) and available in May "Disco Duck" (Rick Dees and His Cast Of Idiots).
