Hillary Clinton Comments on Barack Obama Being a Possible Running Mate During a Recent Interview with VIBE Magazine
WHO: Hillary Clinton Vibe Magazine WHAT: Senator Hillary Clinton spoke recently to VIBE correspondent Joan Morgan about the possibility of she and Barack Obama becoming running mates. Clinton was the guest speaker at last Saturday's State of the Black Union Symposium 2008 in New Orleans, after which she granted a one-on-one interview with Morgan. Clinton was asked if there was a chance she and Obama could run on the same ticket if she were to win the Democratic nomination. To that she responds: "Of course there is ... Neither of us will answer this [definitively] because we don't want to look presumptuous and premature but it is more than fair to say -- of course there is." During her conversation with Morgan, Clinton talks about reforming drug sentencing laws and discusses the "misogyny and coarseness" of pop-culture.
