BET Networks Partners with Cablevision and Time Warner Cable to Present '106 & PARK: LIVE FROM BROOKLYN' Featuring Hip-Hop Legend Jay-Z

Exclusive Event Footage Available to Cablevision and Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey Customers

NEW YORK, Nov. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- BET Networks is teaming up with distribution partners Cablevision and Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey for a special episode of BET's 106 & PARK, the #1 music countdown program on television. "106 & PARK: LIVE FROM BROOKLYN" will air at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT on Friday, November 9, and will feature hip hop's biggest name and Brooklyn's own Jay-Z performing songs off his new album, American Gangster, as well as a few of his classic hits. This special episode marks the first time 106 & PARK will be broadcast from Brooklyn.

In partnership with Cablevision and Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey, BET will be offering a local VOD piece for exclusive, behind-the- scenes footage of the event. Later this month, Time Warner Cable of New York and New Jersey will be offering customers exclusive, behind-the-scenes footage of the event on Local Video On Demand Channel 1111, free to Time Warner Cable customers with digital converters boxes.
