PTA, NEA, NCWO to Announce Unprecedented New Children's Television Initiative
WASHINGTON, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In response to the rise in violent and indecent television programming, three of the nation's largest organizations representing the interests of children, will announce a major grassroots initiative to tackle this pressing parental concern.
The National Parent Teacher Association (PTA), National Education Association (NEA) and National Council of Women's Organizations (NCWO) will speak on behalf of many other nonprofit organizations participating in the first-ever parental engagement campaign to change the quality of children's television in America.
