Equity Media Joins NAB's DTV-Education Campaign

LITTLE ROCK, Ark., Oct. 24 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Equity Media Holdings Corporation (NASDAQ:EMDA) announced today that it will participate in the National Association of Broadcasters' DTV-Education Campaign, which is designed to help educate viewers on the upcoming transition to digital television. The company will support the campaign with English- and Spanish- language public service announcements, news tickers, crawls and web site banner ads.

Seven Equity Media television stations already operate digitally and the company is committed to preparing its viewers for the February 17, 2009 date when all analog broadcasts cease and the benefits of digital-only operations begin.
