Bargain News to supply over 40,000 Connecticut classified ads to the local ABC -TV affiliate's community web site

TRUMBULL, Conn., Oct. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- The Bargain News, Connecticut's statewide weekly classified ad newspaper and online web site today announced a media partnership with WTNH-TV, a Lin Broadcasting station in New Haven, CT. The local ABC affiliate has begun offering all of the local classifieds from the Bargain News database to their online web site visitors. WTNH.com is featuring a general search box on their home page that will then bring the visitor to a more detailed web page where visitors can refine their requests to see specific items. The site will focus on the 25,000+ vehicles for sale in the state and will also make available over 150 additional categories of general items for sale from private individuals and local businesses. The listings will include multiple photos, maps and directions, links to business web sites, and multi-level contact points that include e-mail, click to call and even instant messaging.

Bargain News has also begun featuring print ads for the WTNH.com web site in the pages of its weekly newsstand edition as well as banner ads and links that will run throughout the BargainNews.com web site. The promotion will be aimed at the 100,000+ weekly Bargain News readers to inform them of the wealth of valuable local news and information available on the WTNH.com web site.
