At 'Issues: Caras y Voces' Armando Guzman Talks to California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
LOS ANGELES, Oct. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Azteca America, the fastest-growing Hispanic television network in the United States, is proud to announce the second segment of "Issues: Caras y Voces," a political forum hosted by veteran Latino journalist Armando Guzman, featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Governor of California.
After earning the title of Mr. Universe, and being a top Hollywood hero, he currently serves as California's 38th Governor. And he has proven to be much more than a "muscle builder."
Governor Schwarzenegger will share with our audience why he feels that the Federal Government can't be trusted with the delicate issue of immigration. And he will tell Armando why he has decided to lobby throughout 2008, both in Washington and Mexico City, for new imaginative solutions to this problem.
His other major concern is the environment. Among his accomplishments is a bipartisan agreement to reduce California's greenhouse gas emissions by signing landmark legislation in 2006. He is also working with fellow border Governors from both Mexico and the U.S. on common issues.
California is one of the U.S. states with the largest Hispanic populations. Governor Schwarzenegger will also tell us if he has his political eyes in the U.S. Senate.
Everybody remembers him for his famous phrase "I'll be back." So, will he? Where? What are his political plans for the future? We invite you to tune in to find out.
Don't Miss "Issues: Caras y Voces" Mondays during the transmission of Noticiero Azteca America, at 6:30 pm EST and PST/ 5:30 pm CST and 11:00 pm EST and PST / 10:00 pm CST.
