NEW YORK, Sept. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Paltalk, the leading real-time, video- based community with over 4 million users, today affirms its leadership position in the new socialcasting movement with the launch of several original series produced for the company's newly released interactive video platform, PaltalkScene. Three new shows will debut beginning this week; Hollywood Now with Joanne Colan, a celebrity talk show hosted by the Rocketboom notable; MusicScene, featuring live performances and interviews with the latest and hottest musical artists; and the political and social issue interactive debate, Provocation Hall - with more programming slated to launch later this Fall.

Initial featured guests for the company's new lineup of shows include: R&B sensation JoJo, members of the cast of the hit television series, Heroes, professional dancers from Dancing with the Stars, actress and singer/songwriter Taryn Manning, as well as Entourage's Rex Lee. Paltalk's new programs will offer first-of-its-kind interactive and participatory user experience, rather than passive, online viewing. Users not only watch both the live shows and pre-recorded clips in Screening Rooms, but are also encouraged to interact with the guests, hosts and other viewers in real-time through voice, video and text chat as the show airs.

Hollywood Now with Joanne Colan (Wednesdays at 8pm ET, beginning September 12): Hosted by Rocketboom's Joanne Colan, this weekly, hour long series is a live, intelligent and interactive Q&A show featuring celebrity and other pop culture personalities. PaltalkScene offers an unprecedented opportunity for guests to get up-close and personal in a way that's never before been possible. Making this truly unique is providing the ability for Paltalk members to talk with the stars themselves in real-time via the internet. Provocation Hall (Thursdays at 8pm ET, beginning September 20): This weekly, live show hosted by political campaign veterans Avery Krut and Amanda Crumley, focuses on important political and cultural topics with a panel of experts and informed commentators to spur healthy, unscripted debate on hot political, environmental and social topics. Audience participation including a real time dialog with each week's guest will be a highlight of the show, and Screening Rooms will be used to show video clips, commercials and documentaries that supplement the conversation. Considered a town hall meeting without geographical boundaries, each week Provocation Hall will tackle a different issue and provide an open forum for community involvement and expression.
