New Documentary Exposes Hugo Chavez's Terrorist Connections and Threat to United States

Members of Congress to Discuss New Film in a Press Conference Call

As a clarion call to warn of the dangers of Venezuelan dictator Hugo Chavez, the American Security Council Foundation has produced an eye-opening documentary, "Crisis in the Americas," which will be discussed on a media conference call.

Featuring authoritative interviews with Reps. Connie Mack and Lincoln Diaz-Balart, former Rep. (and current Florida Attorney General) Bill McCollum and former Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs Otto Reich, the documentary reveals little-reported facts about the brewing crisis in South America including: Hugo Chavez's takeover of his country's news media, his cozy relationship with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and how Venezuela has become a safe haven for terrorists.

Hugo Chavez is expected to meet with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad next week. A trailer of the documentary can be viewed at http://www.crisisintheamericas.org/.
