National Museum of Women in the Arts Honors 5 Women at Legacies of Women in the Performing Arts
WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released today by the National Museum of Women in the Arts:
WHAT: In celebration of its 20th Anniversary, the National Museum of Women in the Arts presents Legacies of Women in the Performing Arts, saluting the accomplishments of five women who have broken barriers in the worlds of music, film, theater and television. The honorees are Diahann Carroll, Jane Curtin, Della Reese, Loretta Swit and Julie Taymor.
Each honoree will be celebrated in a short video biography followed by an interview, which highlights each woman's contributions to the performing arts.
