JRC Mobile WiMAX Base Station Achieved MIMO IOT With Fujitsu User Terminal
CHICAGO, September 28/PRNewswire/ -- Japan Radio Company (JRC) (Tokyo: TSE No.6751) announced today that JRC Mobile WiMAX Base Station achieved MIMO IOT with Fujitsu User Terminal based on Fujitsu New Mobile WiMAX SoC (System-on-Chip) MB86K21 (http://www.fujitsu.com/us/news/pr/fma_20070521-2.html).
MIMO data transmission between JRC Base Station and Fujitsu User Terminal is demonstrated by Fujitsu Microelectronics America Inc. at the WiMAX World USA (Booth #305, September 25-27, 2007 in Chicago).
JRC and Runcom Technologies, Ltd (Runcom) already demonstrated the high throughput data transmission in 20MHz BW between JRC Base Station and JRC and Runcom User terminals respectively both based on Runcom Mobile WiMAX SoC RNA200 at the CTIA Conference (March 27-29, 2007 in Orlando).
