FELTON, Calif., Sept. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Sunday, September 30, 2007 from 5:30-10:00pm Dina Eastwood will be hosting Faces of Hope, at Clint Eastwood's exclusive Tehama Golf and Country Club, for Rising International, the first organization in the world to use the direct sales business model to end world poverty.

The event features former United Nations Under Secretary General Olara Otunno, as the Keynote Speaker, Faces of Hope Ambassadors (20 extraordinary women from around the world), and a spectacular live auction of "once in a lifetime experiences."

Rising International's entrepreneurial ethos is to build a strong business sector for the poorest women, both in the U.S. and around the world. Rising International has found a way for the world's impoverished to help each other out of poverty.

Throughout the U.S., low-income women and teens have completed the Rising International training to lead Rising home parties and earn an income from craft sales as independent business owners. Lidia, the daughter of field workers in Monterey, California realized "after I completed the training, I didn't see myself as poor."

From Afghanistan to Zimbabwe, the poorest women in the world are building sustainable businesses by making beautiful crafts to be sold at Rising home parties. "Selling my crafts to Rising International has enabled me to provide three meals a day to my family," said Nana Dembele who lives in Mali, West Africa.
