HBO Settlement with Steven Rosenberg Announced

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- An out-of-court settlement of Steven Rosenberg's suit for breach of contract against HBO was announced today by Mr. Rosenberg's attorney, Robert L. Tofel, Senior Partner of Tofel & Partners.

Terms of the settlement are confidential.

Mr. Rosenberg's claims against HBO contested the allegedly "for cause" termination of his contract. "Mr. Rosenberg is gratified that this litigation has been satisfactorily resolved," says Mr. Tofel.

Mr. Rosenberg, a 14-year veteran of HBO, had most recently served as President of HBO International and Executive Vice President of HBO. He was instrumental in the company's efforts to establish pay TV ventures in Latin America, Brazil, Europe and Asia, including HBO Ole, HBO Asia and HBO Central Europe.
